The partner summit in Goa, India held between 18th through 20th April’11 was an event that brought together channel partners across SAP line of products and key executives of SAP.

The event was unique in the sense that only the top 10-15 partners were invited to not only ensure that the message is relayed right across to the relevant ones but also to let these successful partners to explore amongst themselves areas and possibilities of working together as a team. CitiXsys was represented by Kamal and Manish, also had a speaker slot to present iVend Retail as the Industry Solution on SAP Business One.

The highlight of day one was the fantastic show put up by a local performer who performed various tricks with clubs of fire! The juggler was not only good in his tricks, but also kept the audience engaged by getting people from the audience to perform with him. Needless to say, that the evening gave ample opportunity to interact with the peer group and explore synergies.

After the keynote address on day two, the audience broke up into different tracks. CitiXsys was invited to present iVend Retail as one of the Industry Solutions on SAP Business One. Kamal took the center stage and emphasized the importance of Retail in the Indian context and the need for the partner to create a vertical practice around Retail.

The CitiXsys Channel Program 2011 for India was officially announced to the partner community. Almost all the invited partners expressed their willingness to build a practice around iVend Retail and offered to become a CitiXsys Sales & Implementation Partner.

The event concluded with an entertaining show by local DJs and musicians.
