Payment Processors integrated with iVend Retail

We get a lots of mails from iVend partners, customers and prospects about recommendations on payment processors. This blog post is about all integrated payment processors that work with iVend Retail currently as on August 2011. We will keep increasing this list and keep adding new payment processors in future. If you want your payment processor to be integrated with iVend Retail, please leave a comment at the bottom of this post or send me an email.

iVend’s Shop and Swipe feature allows cashier’s to complete transactions without the need of clicking any button at the POS. The feature makes the POS operation ‘click-free’ as the cashier just swipes the card after scanning all the items. The feature also removes the need of swiping the card once at EFT machine and then again at the POS for recording the payment details. In constant endurance to provide the hassle free billing at the POS, iVend Retail is integrated with many popular payment processors for different countries. That’s not all; all this comes with the highest standards of security practices recommended by the PCI council.

Running a fully support software release for critical business processes is crucial for companies to reduce their maintenance risk and to leverage the advantages of software improvements.Following End-of-Life/ Support for SAP Business One 2007, CitiXsys announces the End-of-Life of the following product versions

  • Item Matrix for SAP Business One 2007
  • Inventory Pro 5.x for SAP Business One 2007
  • Credit Card Add-On
  • iVend Retail for SAP Business One 2007

Customers using these versions of CitiXsys Add-ons / Products are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the latest versions. All above mentioned product releases will be out of mainstream maintenance post December 2011. Please contact your CitiXsys/ SAP partner, your Account Manager or pmo [at] citixsys.com for any queries or any further assistance.

Maintenance Contract Holders:

Customers will get a migration period until December 31, 2011 to move to higher/ supported versions of CitiXsys products. During this time CitiXsys will only address the most critical issues. If there is a particular issue in the unsupported versions, it will only be addressed in the latest version.

Customers on Maintenance, Who Choose not to Upgrade:

Customers who choose not to upgrade to the current/ supported versions, will have their current product version supported up to December 31, 2011. Beyond this date, CitiXsys will no longer support customers on above mentioned product versions.

Existing Customers Not on Maintenance, Who Choose to Upgrade:


Customers who own unsupported versions, and are currently not on a maintenance plan may purchase the latest CitiXsys Add-ons at the full license price. Maintenance Plans are only available for current products and can only be purchased as part of a bundle with a current CitiXsys product. If you own a previous version of a CitiXsys product, these bundles are also available at special upgrade pricing. At this time, new Maintenance Plans cannot be purchased separately.

MiniJumbuk replaces Attache with iVend retail + SAP Business One

With its products sold throughout Australia, Europe and China, it was important for the backoffice and point of sale solution chosen by MiniJumbuk, to be robust and easy-to-use. The company began to explore the possibility of investing in a solution that could integrate their business processes and information across their enterprise. Previously using Attache, MiniJumbuk elected to implement SAP Business One and its integrated point of sale solution iVend Retail – which would be used at their retail outlets. The solution was so complete; there was no need to source alternatives. SAP Business One and iVend Retail offered it all. According to Angela Hahn, Finance Administrator at MiniJumbuk, iVend Retail was rolled out in exactly four days.

“Due to our location, the CitiXsys team arrived on Saturday night, and on Sunday, they began training some of the staff that were commissioned to handle this transition at MiniJumbuk. The software was loaded on either Sunday or Monday and was tested out that very day. It’s incredible but we actually went live on Tuesday,” she said.

“We needed a better system to support our company, so we went with SAP. Our retail shop also needed an easier, user friendly system which integrated with SAP so we selected iVend Retail. We are now better able to track transactions through the system and can also create gift certificates on the fly.”
